Clark's kindergarten class has an alphabet cheer that they have been learning and repeating every Monday which helps them learn the letter and sounds of the alphabet better.
On Wednesday, the 12th, Clark and some other Kindergartners were invited to come to the school board meeting and preform their cheer to show something they have been learning so far this year.
It was so fun to see the group of 5 year olds get up there in front of quite a big group of adults and recite the whole thing. Plus I must say, Clark was really loud on the letters he knew well, so it was fun to hear his little voice quite well at parts (plus his teacher appreciated someone being loud...since most of them were a little shy and didn't really want to speak up).
I didn't manage to get any pictures during the performance (since we chose the video camera over camera at that moment and the other parent was holding tightly to the other brother who really wasn't excited to be sitting in a meeting), but we did get a cute picture once they were done.
This is Clark and his teacher, Mrs. Davis, whom we love!
They are holding the A card from the cheer (which the kids would say "A says a, Ant on an apple, aaa" when they see that card).
Super cute!
Clark did a great job and it was fun to see him preform it.
