Thomas

We found out that Thomas the train would be making a stop not far from Nana and Papa's house during July, so considering the fact that Logan LOVES Thomas and trains in general and since he was only 2 when we last went (when Clark was 4), we decided to take the boys and go see Thomas again.

Needless to say, Logan was more than a little excited....and I think Aubrie was just as excited to get left at home with Nana instead of coming with us to see her something that is NOT her favorite!!

Anyway, I bought tickets for the second train ride of the day, so we decided to get going early and go look around and explore before our ride, which was a perfect idea. It was still cool first thing in the morning and sooooo not crowded yet which mean we got our pictures with Thomas:

Then got on the first open air push car ride for the day:

We also did the bounce house a few times, played in the tent with the wooden train sets for a long time (while it wasn't crowded) and then headed over to get in line for our ride on Thomas.

The boys thought they wanted to sit in the open air car (though mom wasn't so sure since it was still a little chilly out) but when we got to the front of the line and were about to sit on one of the normal cars towards the back of the train, a conductor waved us down and said he needed some more groups in the front car, so we gladly followed and ended up with great window seats in the Annie (the car ride behind Thomas), so Logan was super excited!

We enjoyed a nice ride though town and to the waterfall and then back again.

Once we were done on Thomas, the boys headed back to the train set tent to play some more (and had to share now that it was more crowded much to their dismay!), then we say Sir Topham Hat (or Logan saw him I should say):

Then we went to see the model trains and watch the steam engines run for a while. I think the boys could have watched those trains all day as well and even took pictures of their favorites engines working hard:

We took a few more pictures of Thomas, visited the gift shop to get some treasure of course

then headed out to the car to eat some lunch and see Thomas come right past us again:

Then we headed off to see Snoqualmie Falls from the opposite side of what we saw on our Thomas ride. Brian and I had visited the falls last on Brian's first visit to Washington when we were dating, so it was fun to go visit again with the boys and see how cool they thought the falls were.

(And also let Logan pretend to be a statue in front of the falls):
