Just a few short days after I went back to Nana and Papa's to pick up the kids and then brought them to see their new house and town, we started school.
Being in a small town, means small school and as an added bonus the school is just a block from our house, so we get to walk to and from every day....just what Clark always wanted! :) Now if I would just let him walk all by himself....to bad he has a mean mom who likes to walk with them!
Before heading out to school we of course needed our typical 1st day of school front door pictures.
Logan starting Kindergarten:
and super happy about it:
Clark starting 2nd grade:
Aubrie wanted to jump in when I tried to get a picture of the two boys together:
So we attempted a shot of the three of them together:
and then attempted to get a normal one of the two boys together:
tried once more at the big tree in front of their school....look at the camera...what is that mom?!:
Logan outside his Kindergarten room...saying can we go already mom!"
and his desk...this is one kid who has been ready for school forever and is so ready to start, no tears here (from Mom either...he is ready) and he is even more excited because this school does all day Kindergarten, so he gets to eat lunch at school and stay as long as Clark does!
Clark in front of his door:
getting stuff put away:
and finding our desk:
Each classroom has a university that they are. Logan started the year in Ms. Oman's class (but two weeks later would go to Ms. Blix's class when they split his class) and his school/team for the year is the University of Oregon Ducks (much to Clark's disappointment...as that is his favorite team and pretty much all of the clothes he chose this year were green and yellow).
But Clark will add some crimson and grey to his wardrobe to represent the cougars of Washington State University in Mrs. Becker's 2nd grade class.
And here is a picture of Miss Aubrie on the way out of school wondering where her brothers had gone.
It will definitely be a big change for her to have just Mama around all day...yeah for girl time! :)
