Pacific Science Center

On Tuesday before Christmas we all headed up to Seattle to the Science Center.
First stop for Clark was, of course, the dinosaurs.
Here is Nana, Daddy and Clark taking a closer look at the raptors.
And Clark, Lauren and Daddy looking at some dinosaur eggs. Aunt Kim was nice enough to be the driver of Logan's carriage...and in case you can't tell by the look on his face, Logan was totally impressed by the dinosaurs
Aunt Kim couldn't move fast enough for Logan as he wanted to see all the dinosaurs now...and then again...but he did allow Kim to pause long enough for one photo.
Emily was brave enough to lay down in the dino tracks...wow they're big!
After the dinosaurs we went on to explore many things. Logan enjoyed petting the starfish...Clark wanted nothing to do with them.
Then we found some trucks
and cars to play with
And a music room
to make lots of fun noise in.
Lauren found the computers and tried to learning games.
Logan definitely needed LOTS of water time and Emily enjoyed the spray guns...good thing they were enclosed in glass or Aunt Natalie would have been wet!
Uncle Brandon and Logan had a great game of catch the block going.
which Logan loved to hide from Brandon in his little cube and then pop up and throw the block...super funny. My favorite part of the visit that day was the butterfly room.
You actually go in the huge room where tons of butterflies live. They are just flying around doing there thing and it is super cool.
I must admit it was a little difficult with excited kids to make sure they didn't step on any, but Clark understood pretty fast and loved watch all the butterflies. He even got a butterfly card with Aunt Kim and tried to find the different kinds. Logan liked it for a while, but then wanted to get down and run, so it was time to leave at that point, but we had a great time seeing the beautiful creatures up close and Brian and I loved playing with our new camera with these peaceful subjects who actually hold still, so here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy.
I am sure we saw a few more things that I didn't get pictures of, but we all had a great day and loved having lots of new things to explore (and Mom really enjoyed having adults out number the kids for once....makes enjoying exhibits a lot easier.)
Clark needed one more stop with Dad at the dinosaurs on the way out and then we headed home for naps and to get Uncle Brandon and Aunt Kim to work.
Thanks everyone for coming with us and enjoying a fun day at the Science Center.
