Even though we had a quiet Thanksgiving at home this year, we were super excited that some of our friends from Washington came to stay with us for a couple of nights over the holiday weekend.
The Youngberg's, complete with their two sleeping daughters pulled in late Wednesday night after a long day of holiday traffic, so the kids didn't play that night, but started right in first thing Thanksgiving morning.
Clark loved having Sophie to read stories with.
They wanted to go home with her and could have cared less about leaving mom and dad, but we convinced them to stay and took them to see Ice Age 3 at the dollar dinner and movie theater here in Salem which was a fun way to end the holiday.
Thanks Youngberg's for coming to stay!
It was so much fun to see you again and hopefully it won't be so long between visits this time.

We had such a great time with you guys. Sophie is still talking about Clark (which sounds like "Clock" when she says it) and Logan. Thanks for taking such good care of us. We definitely need to do it again. Since I am totally slacking on my blog, I will email you some of our pictures of the trip.
PS When we got home we realized we had two Cat in the Hat books. Oops! We will send your copy in the mail. It will be like getting a present! :)
