Thanksgiving vistors

Even though we had a quiet Thanksgiving at home this year, we were super excited that some of our friends from Washington came to stay with us for a couple of nights over the holiday weekend.

The Youngberg's, complete with their two sleeping daughters pulled in late Wednesday night after a long day of holiday traffic, so the kids didn't play that night, but started right in first thing Thanksgiving morning.

Clark loved having Sophie to read stories with.

And was even nice enough to share his train....most of the time. They spent Thanksgiving day with Sarah's family that lives in Salem, but then the kids got in a lot of play time on Friday before they left. It was actually a gorgeous day and after all the parents took turns getting their Black Friday shopping in, we all took the kids outside for some running.

Clark started in the seat swing with Sophie and Logan was helping Spencer push,

but Logan moved into his swing and Clark took over the pushing duties.

What fun!

Logan loves his swing and will stay in it for hours...as long as you're there to push him. Clark finished off the holiday outdoor play time with some soccer.

Loves that soccer ball....and is becoming quiet good at the kicking while running.

The boys were sooo sad when it was time for Sophie to go.

They wanted to go home with her and could have cared less about leaving mom and dad, but we convinced them to stay and took them to see Ice Age 3 at the dollar dinner and movie theater here in Salem which was a fun way to end the holiday.

It was so much fun to see you again and hopefully it won't be so long between visits this time.
