That's right, last week we went to the zoo again. This time only Clark and I went along with some of our friends.
We met Tif, Kiera and Scharae in Portland at one of the Max train (Portland's light rail train system) stations where we could catch a train that would take us straight to the zoo.
(If I would have been one second earlier with the picture, Clark had is arm around Kiera as they were intently watching out the windows...it was cute.)
Then at the zoo, since we had max train tickets, riding the little train that goes through the zoo and Washington park around the zoo, was free. We figured that was a great way to eat lunch while the kids enjoyed their little ride.
If you can't tell Clark was loving it.
Then we had to see the Larakeets again.
Our friends had never been to visit them before, so Clark (the Pro now) had no hesitation to show the girls how it was done.
Clark feeding his little Larakeet and talking to him as well.
Then Kiera and Scharae love the bugs, so they showed Clark all about the bugs on this trip.
Clark was fascinated with the centipede and must have watched him for a good 5 minutes straight.
Elephants were a definite stop on Clark's list, so here is a picture of the big elephant walking behind Clark.
