Both Brian and I had birthdays last week and though both days were pretty low key (since Brian had class late both nights) we did make a birthday cake for Dad's birthday (Mom just shared since one cake is plenty for this family in 2 days).
Clark was a big helper mixing the cake and loves licking the beaters afterwards of course.
Clark with the finished product waiting somewhat patiently for Dad to get home from school so we can EAT it. (He decided no frosting, just candy and ICE CREAM)
That best part, especially in Clark's book....the candles.
"Cheese!.....now can I blow?!"
Clark is such a good helper and he only had to blow out all the candles twice before we could cut the cake and eat it.PS It was yummy devil food cake....very moist!
