Logan's field trip

The last day of school before spring break, Logan's class went on a field trip to visit and see about different jobs. Though it wasn't as many stops as Clark's was the year before, it was perfect for this little class.

Here is Logan's class all cuddled into an exam room at the dentist office which was the first stop of the day:

They got to go for a ride in the chair and I got a cute video of Logan's up and down ride, but it doesn't want to upload, so we'll stick with this as the sole picture from the dentist office for now.

Next up was Umpqua dairy.

Cameras aren't allowed inside, but the kids loved the tour and seeing the cool machines that make some of their favorite treats.

Seeing how they make ice cream, getting a sample of fresh made vanilla, and then seeing the -27 below room with thousands of quarts of ice cream stored in were definitely among some of the highlights.

I'll admit, I really didn't enjoy the cottage cheese room this time....though I love eating it, the smell of it being made plus the combo of the really hot room they make it in didn't do wonders for this pregnant mom. I was definitely happy when we left that room.

Next we headed to a donut shop...because really, what is better with chocolate milk then a donut to go with it?! After a super yummy snack for everyone, we headed to the last stop...the fire station!

I think this stop was the one Logan was most looking forward to. Unfortunately, all the firefighters were out on a call in the big engine, so it was just the lonely office guys and us for the tour. He definitely isn't used to doing tours especially with little kids, but it was still fun (just not as awesome as Clark's tour last year).

Sure was a fun day and it's been even more fun to listen to Clark and Logan compare field trip adventures now that they have been some of the same places.
