While we were in Utah with the Jensen's we had a little extra time one morning and it worked out that one of my roommates from college days and her 2 boys were able and willing to meet us at Thanksgiving Points farms for an hour to play.
We were excited to see some farm animals and meet some new friends (my friends 2 little boys are the same ages are our boys, so it was perfect).
The boys did some pony rides:
Definitely had to get in as many pony rides as possible on this trip :)
Fed some chickens
Saw some really cool peacocks
And saw many other animals with our new friends
We also went on a little carriage ride.
As you can tell, I never really got any great pictures of the four boys together, but you try getting 4 excited little boys to hold still long enough to take a picture...let alone all look at the camera at the same time!

Oh well, I guess if there were no good pictures, that means they were all having a great time running and playing together! To bad we don't live closer so we could actually play together more often!
One of the boys favorite places to play was in the jails. They ran between cells and rooms and played quite the game of good guys and bad guys! Who needs animals when you have friends and jail cells?!
Brian was a good sport to hang out with us for the morning and follow us around...and really play parent to all the kids while Megan and I caught up. We realized while we were there that it was 8 years to the day since we had actually seen each other, so we had a lot of catching up to do in a short amount of time!
It's so fun when you can just pick up where you left off like it's only been a few months as opposed to years since you been together. Plus it was extra fun to get to meet her boys and have her meet mine as well.
It wouldn't be a complete visit without a picture to document, so Brian obliged and took a cute picture of the two of us before we had to leave.
Thanks Megan for coming to meet up with us!
It was so fun to see you again, meet your boys and get to talk in person for a few minutes. Hopefully we can make another play date happen among our travels sooner rather than later....at least better then 8 years this time!
