We had some dear friend who moved out of Salem before we did, so we got to hang out with them a couple of times before they left.
First, we did a BBQ at our house.
Once dinner was over, the two Dad's headed out to play a round of golf while the kiddos and Moms hung out for some play time.
These kids loved hanging out on the swings
and made the double seater look like is was made for three!
Then the morning our friends headed out, we followed them up to Portland for one last adventure at the zoo (for all of us) before they headed away in their packed car.
As always, my boys loved feeding the birds
and watching the monkeys being silly
and this Mom was chasing her own Monkey around most of the morning.
Then we discovered a new goat petting area that we hadn't visited before
and both boys loved petting and brushing the goats.
(Clark was telling his new friends...that he met at this moment...that he wanted a goat as his house...not sure that will make the moving truck!)
Then a stop in the elephant house rounded out our morning at the zoo where Logan found a new friend just his size.
It was a fun day and we were excited to get to enjoy the zoo one last time before our move as well.
Thanks Meynder's for taking us along and though we already miss you tons we hope all goes well in your new adventures!
