Happy Birthday Clark!

Today is Clark's 4th birthday and boy has he been counting down for a while...like since Christmas!
This little man is so excited to be 4 and thought it was the best thing ever to wake up from a nap and come out to see this in the living room:
He instantly wanted to know if they were for him. When he was assured that they were, he of course wanted to open them that second.
Poor Clark, Mom and Dad weren't quick ready, so he had to wait a few more minutes (torture after already making it through church and naps today to get to the good stuff). Clark made good use of his waiting time, though, by running some laps on his grass track Dad made for him. Not wanting to miss out, Logan soon joined him.
Dinner (his favorite: hot dogs and noodles n cheese) was consumed quite quickly
and he was anxiously awaiting his cupcakes
Good thing we were fast singers, because the instant the plate of cupcakes hit the table
the candle was blown out
and the eating began. AND THEN IT WAS PRESENT TIME!!! (Clark was a little excited)
He opened a Hiro train from Logan
Clothes, Leap Frog and AquaDoodle from Grandma Great.
Clothes and a family match game from Grandma and Grandpa Jensen (this shirt they bought him has a fire breathing dragon on it, so Clark is demonstrating how the dragon is blowing fire in this picture).
And finally Geo Trax bridge from Mom and Dad. He could hardly wait to get the new pieces added in
Nana and Papa were wondering if the toy room was becoming the GeoTrax room, so here is a picture of latest track which is taking up quite a bit of room, but so worth it.
Both boys played with it all day and it's so big, they can each have their own track without getting in each other way...Mom loves that part. Thanks everyone for all the presents, phone calls and birthday wishes you sent Clark on his special day....He sure is loved! Since it took my a while to actually get this post published, I am adding in our Monday night FHE activity to celebrate Clark's birthday as well.
Since we couldn't go out on his actual day, we did it tonight and took the boys to Chuck E Cheese!
It was the first time there for our little family and we had a great time. The boys even got to meet Chucky, which they loved...no more freaking out...they must be growing up.
We had so much fun eating pizza and playing LOTS of games, that Mom seriously failed in the picture taking department, but did manage this one of the 3 boys playing a truck driving game together.
It was a fun family night and a great way to celebrate a birthday as a family.
Clark we hope you had a great day/days!
Thanks for being part of our family and making us laugh almost daily. You have grown so much this year and amaze your parents daily with all the things you learn.
You are a great big brother and friend and we love you soooo much!

What fun! I love the "grass track" in your back yard! Really wish our "yard" would accomodate one too! It looks like Clark had a great day! Can you believe he is already 4?! BTW- your parents have great taste in shirts... Blake and Kyle both have the fire breathing dragon shirt too! LOL! Happy Birthday Clark!
