Logan turns 2!

This last Monday my baby turned 2 and reminded us that he is definitely a little man and no longer a baby.
Logan has grown and changed so much this last year.
He LOVES books, any and all. He loves balls, playing outside, playing with trains, cars and the block town. Logan is a super happy boy with a strong determination to get his way.
He loves Clark and always wants to be doing what his brother is doing. He especially wishes that I would leave him at preschool with Clark every time we drop Clark off.
Though Logan still would rather whine, grunt, point or simply get Clark to say the words for him, he has recently added Mama, Dada, Papa and Nana to his other words he will say (Thank You, Up, All done, Go, and Come). We are excited he has added a few and hope he will add MANY more this next year. Logan's 2 year-old stats are:
Weight: 24 lbs (10th percentile)
Height: 32 3/4 inches (10th percentile)
Unfortunately his present to himself was a double ear infection which is never fun, so he didn't feel great but we did manage to have some fun.
On Sunday, before we headed home, we had a little party for him at Nana's and Papa's (though Papa had to leave for Boston for work, so we missed him) and Jared and Kim came to celebrate with us.
Logan received a new GeoTrax addition from Nana and Papa which he promptly made Daddy open
and Clark and Uncle Jared help him play with.
Nana was also amazing and, with Clark's help, made Logan a cake...and cupcake for the boys. (since this mom was barely getting home from trip, someone had to make sure the poor kid got a cake for his birthday).
Can you tell he was a little excited when he realized it was for him to blow out?!
And then he did a great job getting them blown out.
Logan tasting his cupcake
and Clark not wanting to be left out.
On Logan's actual special day, we took these two munchkins out to eat at Red Robin.
Logan liked his dinner (or as much as you can when you don't really feel good)
and was super impressed when his sundae arrived and thought the singers were funny.
Then it was home to open more presents.
Mom and Dad followed the GeoTrax trend by adding the airplane
as did Grandma and Grandpa Jensen who sent extra tracks.
Logan super happy and laughing hysterically as he flies his new plane.
and Clark showing off the new GeoTrax setup.
The night was finished out with a fun new fire truck from Grandma Great.
Though it is never fun to not feel great on your birthday and to be just getting home after a week away, we think Logan had a fun day and we KNOW he loves all of his new presents.
GeoTrax is played everyday now by both boys and they love it.
Thanks everyone for your thoughtful gifts for our little man.
Logan we love you, your smile and your laugh and are so happy you joined our family!

Oh what a little cute. I forget that Logan and Justin are almost a year apart. This is what my little guy is going to be doing next year? Crazy! Looks like you guys had a great trip to Vancouver. I really regret that I didn't go do/see anything when the Olympics were in SLC. Such a cool opportunity I don't even remember them very well. It think I was a little preoccupied at BYU.
