Christmas Day (Part II)

We spent Christmas this year in Logandale, NV with Brian's family and though it wasn't much warmer in the way of weather (it had actually snowed the week before), we had a great time and enjoyed spending time with that side of the family that we don't get to see very often.

It's a Jensen family tradition to have hamburgers for Christmas Eve dinner. These aren't just any hamburgers, though, these ones are cooked on rocks in the fireplace!

(I must say I was a little cautious eating them my first year in the family, but they really are good burgers and very yummy.)

"Santa Came"

Christmas morning was full of excitement and fun. Our two little men actually slept in for once, but once they were up, it was non stop. Here is Clark with his Santa gifts.

Next was presents. Clark is an expert of course.

Logan just really likes eating the paper, if you can't tell.

Clark's favorite present opened Christmas morning wasn't even his. Aunt Natalie got foam rollers for her hair and Clark instantly decided he wanted to try them out, so here he is letting Aunt Natalie put them in his hair. We weren't sure his hair was long enough, but she got them in and here is the finished product. (They didn't last long actually in the hair, but he needed to try them out.)

This is Clark trying to convince his dad to let him play with Aunt Natalie's rollers again later that morning. Funny kid.....who knew rollers was all it would have taken?!

I think he took 200 pictures that first morning!

Lets just hope this fills his camera need and he can stop trying to use Mom and Dad's camera all the time.

The aftermath!

Once all the excitement of Santa and presents was over, Clark curled up to watch a new Care Bear movie and have a much needed rest.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed their day as much as we enjoyed ours.
