On Saturday, the 4th, we did Clark's Angry Bird Birthday Party and I think it is safe to say that fun was had by all!
We started with a yummy hot dog lunch just as the birthday boy requested, then moved on to games.
We did pin the nose/beak on the pig/bird just as we did at Logan's party the month before (because when Dad does such an amazing job creating games like this, you have to use them twice for sure!).
Then move on to the actual angry bird game Clark requested....recreate the game using boxes and balls in the backyard, so that is what we did:
It's a little hard to get pictures or video why holding one end of the tubing for the ball launcher, but you can get the idea:
Each kids got to launch rubber balls at the angry bird towers and try to knock it and the "pigs" down.
After we were down with the balls, we brought out the water balloons and just let them have fun throwing water balloons at the tower (and each other) on a warm sunny afternoon.
Then of course, there was presents.
Clark's friends brought so many fun and thoughtful gifts. Clark was totally spoiled and love them all.
Finally, cake time!
Mostly like Logan's, but just chocolate cake as requested by Clark:
Happy Birthday Clark!
We love our 7 year old.
Hope it was a fun party....though you did ask to do the same thing next year, so I assume it is safe to say you liked it! :)
