Valentine's Parties

Both boys had fun Valentine's Day parties at school. I stayed in Logan's class to help make lots of fun crafts all morning and managed no pictures of that part, but did get a few of the real party.
Logan's class got 2 cupcakes each to decorate:
This boy definitely wastes no time when it comes to decorating...oh and only chocolate cupcakes for me, but one of each on frosting choices:
 Can we eat yet?
As soon as the go ahead was given, other kids dug into their Valentine buckets, but Logan went straight for the cupcakes.
Eventually he got around to see what was in his bucket:
and he was pretty excited to see all the fun things waiting with Valentine's in the bucket. He was also super cute to go thank each person after he opened their Valentine to him. What a sweet little boy!
Then while Logan finished eating and playing at his party, I snuck over to Clark's class to catch a little of his party as well.
Clark loved opening up each individual Valentine and then worked hard on his own to read each name so he know who had given it to him.
Here is his whole classroom decked out in hearts and everyone enjoying the love notes.
Silly kid was super patient to wait until almost the end to get to decorate his heart cookie for the party.
But as soon as it was his turn, he was all about getting down to business. In fact, before the parent could even get him completely set up and ready to decorate, he was already giving the little boys next to him some crazy, disgusted looks as he watch the little boy lick his life....the one Clark thought he had to use for his frosting too. After the other mom and I had a good laugh about Clark's reaction we explained that every kid got their own knife for frosting and Clark was definitely relieved....and then yes enjoyed licking his frosting when he was done as well. :)
Had to make sure every inch got frosting on it.
And make sure every sprinkle on the plate ends up on the cookie....or in his mouth.
Here he is with his finished project showing it off to his teacher for his Valentine's day picture.
Such fun parties and it is even more fun to have Logan in school this year so he gets to have his own class holiday parties just like Clark.
