Trip, Part I: Lake House & 4th of July

So on Thursday, June 30th we pack up the van and headed north to WA for the first part of our family trip this summer, because the summer wouldn't be complete without being at the Lake House for the 4th.
The boys were super excited to go and even happier when we arrived.
I of course did a horrible job taking pictures while we were there, since honestly we are just relaxed when we are there we don't think of things like that! :) Trust me when I say we spend 4 great days eating lots of yummy food, playing in the water and on the jet ski (we were all extremely grateful it even made it on the lake this year!), reading books, watching movies, playing games and just relaxing in our favorite peaceful place.
Here are the few pictures I did take....all from the 4th of July:
Clark all ready to go in the water, just not sure if he wants to go in the deep end with the big kids (one of my cousins and his family came out that day and his kids were swimming in the deeper end)
Boys all bundled and watching the fireworks from the dock using the tube for a seat
The it was onto sparklers on the deck:
and Dad playing with fun settings on the camera while the boys play with fire.
Finally, Nana introduced the boys to the fun of pop rocks. Thanks Nana for the fun treat!
Thanks Nana and Papa, Jared and Kim and Uncle Ryan for spending a fun weekend with us at the Lake House!
