Easter

We had our Easter festivities on Saturday around here (which ended up being a good thing since we all ended up being at least a little under the weather on Sunday).

The boys found their baskets the Easter Bunny had left the moment they woke up and boy were they excited, since they didn't know he was coming. 

 Clark was super excited to find color change cars in his basket as well as a note that more suprises would be appearing this week.

 Logan also got color changers as well as his own car wash, so when added to Clark's that Nana and Papa gave him for his birthday we have hours of fun changing and washing cars and mom loves that we no longer fight over the car wash...now we can just share and switch turns.

 After over an hour of car playing and some breakfast, Clark found another note from the EB telling the boys he had left an egg hunt for them in the backyard and up the hill.

Clark was so excited for an egg hunt he was dressed in second and ready to get the hunt on.

 Finally Logan is ready to and we head outside to start the hunt.

 The boys did a great job of helping each other find eggs

and had a great time finding the hidden one in the grass

 Logan found it faster to ditch the basket and bring the eggs back

 Clark was super excited to find eggs up on top of the hill as well and shouted down to Logan to come look

So with some help from Dad

 Logan eventually managed to make it to the top of the hill as well

 After finding all the eggs Logan needed a break to enjoy some of the yummy treats inside the eggs.

 Then we watered the garden and played soccer

 and had a great time enjoying the beautiful weather outside as a family for an hour or so before a storm started to blow in and we figured we better head back inside for some lunch.

We had a great family day playing on Saturday and then more fun snuggling, reading books and watching movies on Sunday (when everybody is sick there was definitely no getting cute and heading out to church for us, so we hung out and enjoyed a low key day).

The good news was we all still had appitites, so we enjoyed a ham, potato, jello and deviled eggs dinner that was delishous!
