Playing in the rain!

Last Friday, after a lot of long hot days, we had some rain which was a nice change and quite refreshing.

Logan had been wanting to go outside, so I had just put his shoes on and let him go outside in the backyard when it started raining. I figured he would come in when he started getting wet, but instead he looked at the sky as to say "where is the water coming from" and then proceeded to play. This is a video Brian got of him in the rain and I love how you can hear the rain in the background.

Logan had a great time in the rain for about 20 minutes before he finally came in to dry off.

However, an hour later when Clark woke up from his nap and it was still raining, Clark decided he wanted to go out and play in the rain, so of course Logan went right out with him again.

We failed to get any pictures of both boys out there, but Clark taught Logan how you put on rain jackets with "hat up" (hood on) when you go out to play in the rain. It was really cute to see him take care of his brother. Once they were all decked out, they headed out and played for another 20 minutes or so. Clark said the sky was a sprinkler and loved to dance in the rain.

We also had filled their sandbox with water the day before so they could play with cars, balls, etc in the water, so Clark and Logan headed back to that and had a great time splashing and getting extra wet in that water and the rain!

Oh, what fun!

As a side note, Logan is 18 months old today! I am not sure where the time has gone, but he is such a cute little man and we love him so much. He has grown up quite a bit in the last month or so. He loves to do anything Clark is doing and needs to have every toy Clark is playing with (Clark needs every toy Logan is playing with as well, so it's always fun), but he loves his brother and they have great fun together. He loves his parents too and though he will away go to sleep without a fight for Dad (Unlike for Mom). Logan is currently in the whining stage where he whines for everything he wants since he doesn't know that word for it, but we still love him anyway. He still has his amazing smile that melts your heart and he LOVES books.Logan weighed in at 21lbs 15 oz this week and is almost 30 inches tall.

We are sure happy he is in our family!

Wow! Sounds like they love to be outside no matter what! They're really cute. I love that Clark was helping Logan with his hood.
