For those of you who don't know, my Dad's family owns a jewelry and rock business and this past weekend they where here for a show in Portland. Since Papa was coming to Portland for the weekend and Brian had agreed to go help him at the show, Nana thought she would come stay with us for the weekend.
The boys loved having Nana come and we took her to our Children's Museum here in Salem, so Clark could show her all of his favorite things.
This is the only picture I got of our weekend with Nana....sad I know, but Logan just wanted Nana to hold him forever so he could watch all the trains go around this fun track. Both boys wanted to spend quite a bit of time with the trains this time, but eventually we had to leave, but we had a good time while we where there.Saturday, Nana and I took the boys up to Portland so we could see Papa and Grandma Great.
(My Grandma, Uncle Ivan and Aunt Patsy where all in town for the show as well, so the boys had plenty of new adults to entertain once they warmed up to everyone.)
Grandma Great of course had presents for the boys to win them over which worked like a charm. Clark is showing off is new books to Papa in the hotel room.
And since a hotel room isn't always the funnest place for little boys, Dad and Papa entertained more with spinning trips in the desk chair.
In case you can't tell from the pictures, both of them LOVED it.
They were laughing so hard and just kept asking for more.
It was really funny.
And while we were all there, we managed to get a few pictures out of the boys.
All four generations!
And then one with Nana.
After visiting with Papa and Grandma Great at the hotel for a while, we headed over to the place where the show was to see all the rocks we promised Clark he could see.
Clark had a great time wondering the whole place looking at rocks...the ones carved as animals were his favorite of course. He also enjoyed fishing for treasures and winning some rocks in a spinning game they had for kids.
Then he came back to check out some necklaces with Aunt Patsy and show her his loot.
Clark favorite toy there, though, was Grandma Great's wheelchair. 
He thought it was fun to push around when she wasn't using it, but even took her on a little walk later when she did sit down. Of course, his little legs got tired, so he hopped on the back and let Grandma Great take him for a ride. It was super cute, but I missed getting a picture with our camera of the event, so I'll have to get some from Grandma Great's camera later.
That about sums it up. The boys had their first rock show experience. We all got to see Grandma Great and Papa. Dad got to help a little and the boys and I loved being spoiled by Nana for the weekend. Thanks for coming!

What a fun weekend! There is something special with little boys and hotel spinning chairs... Blake and Kyle LOVE to spin on them too! What a fun time having four generations together! You'll be glad you have the picture to remember it! I also wanted to tell you and Brian "Thanks" for the train chart idea... we are using it to teach Blake how to work towards something instead of just expecting it! He is learning how to do simple chores around the house and once he gets enough stickers he gets a new Thomas the Train toy! Hope you don't mind that I'm "borrowing" your idea!
