Where are we?

Newport, Oregon!
That's right everyone....It's Spring Break, so we made Daddy take a few days off from homework and headed for the coast!
We came down Tuesday night and will head back Friday morning, but it has been a great vacation.
Wednesday we went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and had a great time.
Here are a few pictures from our day (sorry some of them are so dark, but what can you do in an aquarium?!):
Logan enjoying watching some fish swim.
Clark was extremely excited at this tank because he found a fish that looked like Dori from Nemo.
Jellyfish where definitely Clark's favorite exhibit of the day, however. Brian experienced the feeling of being in an old diving helmet. He claims it is instant claustrophobia in there. Clark climbed up to look at Dad through the little mask.
Our little family hanging out in one of the shark tunnels.
You are literally surrounded by sharks and sting rays in these glass tunnels. There are even window down the middle of the floor to see below you which was a little creepy to walk on at times (Clark would not walk over the floor windows for any reason, but Mom didn't have much of a choice with Logan and the stroller.)
Both boys had a great time watching the HUGE fish swim around them though and we spend some quality time in this house which Mom and Dad thought was great since it was indoor (it was quite a wet day on the coast if you can't tell by Brian's and Clark's coats).

Clark's favorite part of the whole aquarium was all the puddle jumping that was available at all the outside exhibits and on all the trails in between all the exhibits. This was the best picture we got of any of his adventures, and it is only of his running as fast as possible to the next puddle. This is the main reason Dad and Clark are so wet in some of the pictures (Mom and Logan hung out inside a little more then the puddle jumpers).

Even though it was an extremely cold and wet day, we had fun, saw lots of fish and Clark got to run, run, run!

Both boys had great naps after this adventure.

What a fun quick get-away! It is so fun how Clark loves splashing in puddles... maybe Blake would too if we ever got some around here! The aquariums look awesome! Hope you get to do this again soon!

PS. Tia told me to tell you Hi and that she hope you are doing great!

I love the Oregon coast! Spencer and I went there a couple years ago for our anniversary. We also went to the aquarium, and Spencer did the same thing with the diving helmet!
