That's right, Logan turned 1 on Sunday!
We can hardly believe that it has been a year since Logan joined our family. He has change a lot in the last year, but we have definitely been blessed to have Logan as a member of our family.
This is Logan when he was just a couple of days old and weighing at 6lbs nothing. Even then he always had a smile to share.
Logan is currently weighing 18lbs, 9oz.
He is in to everything and loves to follow his big brother all over the house. He loves to play the piano and blow kisses (he makes fish faces and them smacks his lips to blow or give kisses...super cute). He is still a super happy kid and always has a smile to share.
He isn't quite walking yet, but has mastered standing on his own and just in the last few days has gotten more adventurous in letting go, so suspect it won't be long before he is chasing that brother around.
Logan is a great eater and will try pretty much anything on anyone's plate. He will definitely be the one teaching Clark how to like and eat new things since Clark is the picky one.
We didn't do a big party for Logan, but we did have our friends, the Maynder's, over for dinner and cake. It was low key, but great for a Sunday and for Logan's first party.
Here are a few pictures from Logan's big day:
This is one smart 1 year old as it took him no time to figure out that the bags had presents in them so he would go after one to see if he could get the present out on his own.
He now has 6....4 on top and 2 on the bottom.

However, as you can see by this picture, he was not impressed and a little confused as to what Dad was doing.
Not to worry, though, Clark was more than willing to blow out the candle for the unwilling birthday boy (maybe next year Logan will be ready).
We tend to open one present and then wait awhile until they are bored with that toy/gift before opening another, so our present opening lasts all day.
He opened the last one (from G&G Jensen) on Monday....so we definitely spread them out, but he was a present opening pro by the end.
Thanks to all our family and friends who spoiled this little boy.
I did make him cupcakes for his party.
Logan also wanted nothing to do with the actual cake that night either, but by dinner Monday night he was a little more excited to give it a try and rather enjoyed it.
Wishing we would stop taking pictures and just give him the next bite (he didn't want to touch it, just have it fed to him instead).
He has been sleeping better lately as he has taken a 3-4 hours nap the last 4 days. Plus he gave Mom a present last night since he slept for 7 hours straight!!!!!!
However, we also found out today that his present to himself was 2 ear infections, so I'll just pray that maybe he really is ready to sleep longer at night and that it wasn't just a fluke since he didn't feel well.
Either way, we love you Logan and are so happy you chose to join our family.
Happy Birthday!
