Two days after finishing packing and moving, we packed up some clothes and loaded up the car and headed out on our first adventure of the summer. We headed to Beaver, UT for the Jensen Family Reunion.
We took a stop over in our loooonnnnggg drive to spend the night with Jason, Lisa and the kids in Boise. Wish I would have taken any pictures, but lets just say the kids loved it and ran nonstop until bedtime and again from wake-up until we left the next morning. It was great to see cousins and family and to get out of the car for a while!
Saturday we left Boise and went to Orem, where we stopped to visit with Grandparents...another great stop!!
Then it was back in the car for the last of the journey to Beaver, where we arrived at the cabin late with sleeping children. :)
Sunday the week of fun started. We rode 4-wheelers, hiked, played in the dirt, relaxed, ate amazing food, caught up with family and had a great time!
Wish I could say I took a lot of pictures, but I didn't.
We did manage to get an updated group shot with everyone there! (Amazing what 4 babies in a year can do to the size of a family and the noise in a house!! :) )
We crossed some rivers....the husbands took pictures of the wives crossing...probably hoping someone would fall in and they'd catch it on camera. We all made it safely though.
Clark explored to his hearts content!
And since we were just passed Aubrie's 1st Birthday, Mom tortured her with some pictures!
Dad helped by sitting with her in the flowers first
and then I made her live her worst nightmare of standing in grass/flowers trying to get a cute picture
I think we managed a few!
And then even managed to get a good updated family picture!!!
Thanks Aunts Natalie and Amee for making that wish come true!
Then there was more playing in the dirt, exploring and did I mention playing in the dirt?!
They even got to go fishing...which they were sooo excited about.
Thanks Daddy and Uncles Jordan and Steve for the fishing trip!
Oh no...it's stuck!
Don't fall in Steve...
but thanks for getting the fishing line unstuck!
Summer time with Dad...what gets better then that?!
There was fun family piƱata night
And hilarious adult games once the kids were in bed! :)
Some of the boys definitely have better putting on pantyhose (while blindfolded and with gloves) skills then others, but the girls sure enjoyed watching)
And though Brian will kill me, here is the video to document the funniest game of the week!
And no trip in the woods is complete for my boys without at least one camp fire with smores!
And plenty of cousin play time!
Logan holding Macie.
And Aubrie was super excited to have someone smaller then her around.
Thanks Jensen's for the super fun week!!!
It was so fun to see everyone and catch up again.
