Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning this year started early for the parents as we thought we would try to get all ready for church by 7am hopefully before the boys woke up and then we could just enjoy Christmas morning and breakfast with only the boys remaining to get ready for church.
Well we were ready when we planned, but apparently the boys thought they would get a little extra sleep for their present to themselves. Just after 8am we decided it was time to wake them up and get the party started! Once they were fully awake and remember what day it was, they were ready to go.
Santa definitely found our house this year and was so good to us:
The boys got a marble race track to share:
Logan got a bike, new Thomas the train pieces including the roundhouse shed, puzzle among other things. He really was excited, but looking back at the pictures mostly I caught him with serious faces. Oh well, at least I remembered the camera.
Clark got a new hot wheels race track:
and then took checking out every other thing he got very seriously (the helmet also came from Santa):
Proudly showing off his new Finn McMissile....just who he wanted.
Next came the play time while breakfast finished baking. Mostly the boys were super good about sharing toys with each other which was extra nice for the parents.
After a yummy breakfast, a break for church at 10am (which Daddy sang in the choir and Clark sang with the Primary kids and then both did great) then we came home for some lunch and present time.
Both boys were definitely into opening presents this year. No slowing them down, but their excitement was so much fun.
Logan got Thomas....just who he wanted.
Once the boys were all done with their gifts and off playing with all their new toys, Mom and Dad had a nice quite time opening their presents at their own slower pace. Daddy surprised Mommy with a new point and shoot camera (easier to take some place then the XSi) which she loves and Daddy got boring stuff of socks and novels for school and puzzles....but that it what he wanted.
Our parents also spoiled each of us and we were all truly bless this year!!!

The rest of Christmas has been spent relaxing and seeing some family. We did get a chance to see all of my family and exchange gifts with them. It was so much fun to see everyone and spend a little time together. The boys always love seeing their cousins and find fun new things to do/play together. Once again, the camera never made it out of my bag, so you'll just have to take my word for the fun we had!!
As our break, is nearing it's end, our family can definitely say we have had a great Christmas break.
Dad is all ready to start school again next week. We all took naps and slept in lots and are definitely well rested again. We enjoyed lots of family time together and saw a lot of extended family in the last few weeks as well. We enjoyed our Christmas and hope you all did as well!
Thanks to all our family for spoiling us again this year. We love you all!!!!

Have you guys put together the marble track yet? The girls got the same one for John and it took him like four hours to put together! He's contemplating sticking it in the garage intact to avoid having to put it back together again!

Looks like you guys have been super busy! Hope the transition back to school is a smooth one!
