Preschool Graduation!

Thursday was Clark's last day of preschool and it ended with a preschool graduation!

(I'll apologize now for the picture overload, but really preschoolers are just so dang cute in a cap & gown that I could help but post a lot of pictures from their fun program!)

Once all the parents were there and seated, the kids filed in decked out in their graduation gowns.

Here are the 8 preschoolers all seated and ready to start their program:

They started by singing some songs they had learned this year.
First, they sung their good morning song complete with actions:

Then a shark, octopus, and other crazy ocean wildlife song that was just crazy and fun and of course one of the kids apparent favorites:

Then Miss Jesika said a few words about each child strengths and gave them an award that listed things they did well and had improved on during the year, so here is Clark going to accept his award:

After the awards, the sung the ABC song complete with all the sign language for each letter and the words at the end of the song. Then each child got to come to the front and say in sign language "My Name is" and then spell their name in sign language. This was also a super cute thing to watch the kids do. I didn't get pictures of all of Clark's, but here are a few of the letters in his name:

Next, was the awarding of their preschool diplomas.
This is Clark getting his diploma. In case you can't tell he LOVED his teacher!

Each child also received an individual memory book with their diploma that is really cute.
It has pictures from throughout the school year as well as comparing beginning of the year vs end of the year hand prints, pictures, Name writing samples and then some art work from throughout the year as well.

They finished by singing one last song and this is Clark point at his Dad during the "I love You" part of the song:

Then graduation was over and each child went to find their parents.

One of the other preschool Mom's made this amazing cake for the party after. Each of the 26 letters the kids made during the year is on this cake in mini form as well as a flag with each child's name and a cute quote about preschool.

Plus the cake tasted absolutely amazing as well!

(And though I got a little stressed with the teacher gift at the end I would take that job over cake making any day....CJ really did an amazing job!)

We are so proud of Clark and all the things he has learned and accomplished this year and are excited to see the adventures he'll have in Kindergarten next year.
