Welcome home Uncle B!

Last weekend we headed up to Washington to help welcome home Uncle Brandon from his mission to Toronto Canada. Nana, Papa and Uncle Ryan had gone to pick him up and then spent a day in Palmyra before heading home, so there was more then just Uncle Brandon to pick up and Clark was excited to see everyone.
Aunt Kim did a wonderful job making the signs and made one especially for Clark which he loved holding with Aunt Kim as you can see in this picture. And Dad, Logan and Uncle Jared were in charge of holding the other sign. Logan was more interested in trying to knock the glitter off the sign, then actually saying hi to anyone around him (but when it's an hour past his bedtime, whatever makes him happy is great).
Clark took Nana's hand to tell her he was taking her home and then loved teasing his Uncle Ryan and Brandon in case you can't tell by the mischievous smile on his face. He told Ryan he was going to sleep at the airport...good thing he changed his mind and Ryan got to come home and sleep at Nana's too.
Clark was a great helper with Uncle Ryan to look for the luggage at baggage claim and then snuck a ride back to the car on top of a suitcase (which he loved!).
I did manage to get one good picture of the missionary at the airport posing with Papa and Nana in the background.
Clark started calling Brandon "missionary" on the way home from the airport (which was super cute) and continued for most of the rest of the weekend. He now switches between Uncle Brandon and missionary, so it probably won't stick, but it was fun while it lasted.
It was sure fun seeing Brandon again and spending a couple of days with him. He had a wonderful mission and you can tell he really learned to love the people in the West Toronto Mission. He gave a wonderful report Sunday and it was fun to hear some of his experiences.
Thanks Uncle B for being a wonderful example to our boys. We all love you and are glad you chose to serve your Heavenly Father these last two years.
Hopefully we'll get to visit again soon!
