Pumpkin Patch

Clark's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch this last week.
They went to Setniker's farm, which was new to us, so that was extra fun.
Clark had a great time exploring all over with his little friends and all the moms were content to follow them around.
It was a great day....a little chilly, but didn't rain, so I was happy.
Of course Clark needed to check out all the tractors and farm equipment (his friends Caden and Jack are checking them out with him). And there was the corn box that Clark loved to dig in.
And hide under the bucket
And fill up the nets and then dump the corn out over his head.
He found the jail cells and got locked behind the bars.
I thought about leaving him in, but finally set him free.
Mom and Clark having fun.
Clark is all ready to go on the hay ride
and loved every moment of the hay ride. We picked pumpkins after the ride and I didn't get any pictures of that event because I was too busy chasing Clark to the very end of the field where he picked the biggest pumpkin he could get to fit in his bag and then mom got to carry it back to the car, so you'll have to wait for later posts to see the pumpkin.
Then it was time for the corn maze so Clark, Lucas, and Jack are all getting ready to head in with Teacher Jennifer.
Clark led the class in, but soon he was letting Teacher Jennifer lead and staying right with her wondering how we would ever get out.
but after about 20 minutes (which is quite a walk for preschoolers) we finally found our way out...back to the beginning!? Oh well, good enough for 3 yr olds and their parents.
A photo pit stop for Caden, Teacher Jennifer, Mrs. Banick and Clark
before heading home for the day.
But don't forget the pumpkin cookie treats on the way out.
One happy kid.
Clark and I had a great time and it was super fun to see Clark with all his new school friends.
Now we'll just have to get Dad excited about carving the big pumpkin!

What a fun day! I'm sure you enjoy the one on one time with each of your boys since it is hard to find the time to do! I'm glad you got to go with him! Good luck Brian with getting the big pumpkin carved! Can't wait to see the final product!
