We went to the Polson Lake house for the 4th of July weekend and had a very relaxing, enjoyable time and then headed to Nana and Papa's for the week after as well. After such a busy school year and the endless task of looking for a job for Brian, it was great to get away from it all for a while.
It was fun to spend so much time with Nana, Papa and Uncle Ryan and we loved that Uncle Jared and Aunt Kim got to come spend some time at the lake house with us as well.
Here are A LOT of pictures to summarize our trip:
Clark started with a walk with Lady a few mornings.
One of the nights Jared was around he pulled on his swimming suit and thought he would see if he could get Clark to go wading in the lake with him.
Here they are talking about getting in.
And to Mom surprise, Jared actually got Clark in.
I missed the actual in part that night, but here he is climbing back out (apparently if you tell him he can get more rocks to throw back in he is all game).
Logan was done after one
but Clark went through 2 boxes.
And was soon writing with them
and making them dance in the air.
Logan went to bed after the sparklers, but Clark was wide awake and loved watching all the big fireworks (which he calls pop pop and lights) over the lake that night.
Clark was in and out for the rest of the night and then went in again a few more times while we where still at the lake. He thinks it is fun now as long as there aren't too many boats of the lake making waves, he is fine. YEAH!!! Thanks Jared!
Then the fireworks:
Logan was not too sure about sparklers as you can tell, but Clark loved them this year.
It was a great holiday!
The last night we were at the lake, Uncle Ryan wanted to go fishing, which Clark thought sounded like fun, so he decided to go too.
Here is Daddy and Clark with their fishing pole
Such a fun time.
Thanks!
The rest of the trip at Nana and Papa's was pretty low key as the boys both got colds and didn't feel super well, but it was nice to just relax. Mom and Dad did get a date night in (Thanks Nana and Papa) and some needed stops in as well, so it was a great trip.
