The beginning of December brought weird happenings around our house. One morning we woke up to powdered sugar all of the kitchen floor with little foot prints in it.
While eating breakfast after mom had clean up the mess, Clark suddenly piped up "I think Little Diesel is back!"
Convinced that must be the answer the boys set out looking to see if they could find the mischievous elf. Later after school, they did find him hiding high up on a shelf in the kitchen and were both sooooo excited to have him back.
During the month of December, there were many crazy adventures with Little Diesel and I remembered to get photos of a few:
One morning we found him in a spider wet build on the landing railings. I think his plan back fired on him though, as he became tangled in the web.
Clark added the plastic spider leftover from Halloween for effect before school:
And then the spider really did catch Little Diesel in his web:
Clark had a great time torturing the poor elf before getting him down.
He built card houses using all the cards he could find in the house:
Which the boys shot down with nerf and rubber band guns upon finding:
And Aubrie had to get in on the fun....whether her brothers wanted her help or no! :)
Logan finally joined in with Aubrie's method thing sliding looked way more fun!
Aubrie started hording all the cards thinking it was so fun:
And Clark stayed focused until every house was shot down:
I can't say sorting cards back into correct games was especially fun and neither was sorting through DVDs the day we discovered LD had rearranged many DVDs to random cases, but the kids loved waking up every morning on the hunt to see what trouble had been caused during the night.
Not every night was trouble, though. He did draw sweet pictures for each of the kids one night:
And had sack races with other friends one night:
Clark made sure they all crossed the finish line together when he found them the next morning....except for dinosaur who was the clear, come from behind, winner.
Logan offended took LD to bed with him hoping to be awakened by LD when he got up to play, but LD always seemed to be too sneaky....though Dad did get a few pics of the cute pair:
One night day we found him reading stories to all of Logan's trains:
And apparently he offended the army men one night because we found him taped up one morning:
Played games with the snowmen:
And Christmas morning the boys awoke to find one last trick from LD for the year.
He had toilet papered off the stairs leading downstairs.
It made them wait to go down until Mom and Dad were up too, but then they had a great time tearing through:
Thanks for coming back again Little Diesel! We sure do love all of your crazy adventures and hope to see you again next year!!
