Christmas

We enjoyed a quite family Christmas at home this year and loved it.
We had a yummy dinner on Christmas Eve with all the trimmings.
And these two are super excited to eat in case you can't tell:

After eating way too much food, we opened Christmas jammies for everyone and got comfy for the night. We watch a movie, read the Christmas story..complete with our hand puppets to act it out.
Then of course we agreed to let the kids open their presents from each other....much to their delight.

But first, jammie pictures of the three kids.

The boys let Aubrie open her present from them first which she loved and they were almost as excited for her.
Then Logan opened his from Aubrie and Clark.
and finally the big brother Clark got to open his from Logan and Aubrie.
I think I can safely say that were all extremely happy and enjoyed playing for the time that was left until bed.

We finished the night by setting out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and then letting the boys head outside quick to leave reindeer food for the reindeer to find that Logan had made at school. It was super cold and wet, so it was a fast trip!
Then off to bed.
Christmas morning after breaking through Little Diesel's trap they all headed downstairs to check out what Santa had left them.

The boys quickly put Dad to work on figuring out Transformers and Aubrie helped herself to the rest of the cookie Santa didn't finish.
Once the cookie was gone, then she could focus on playing with new toys:
After a yummy breakfast, we started on presents and yes we kept up our typical open one, play with it for a while and then come back when you are ready to put it away and open another, so it lasted a while.
I loved watching Aubrie open every present because she always did this excited gasp every time she open something new.

She definitely liked her new blanket:
And Logan was in heaven for hours after scoring plenty of new trains and tracks from Nana and Papa and Mom and Dad.

And yes presents still existed and were still opened on the 26th as you can tell by the change of clothes.
Having Amazon Prime this year definitely made shopping for Brian and I easier, but we might have been guilty of ordering single things at a time instead of thinking it through and bundling as many shipments together as possible. As a result our basement looked like this and we call it our Christmas courtesy of Amazon. :) Next year I'll have to do better at order as many things together as I can.
Anyway, we had a wonderful Christmas!!
Thanks family for totally spoiling us!
We love and miss you all and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
