Pinewood Derby

Back in February, our ward had a Pinewood Derby activity for everyone who wanted to participate. The boys each got a car and were super excited to take part in the car race.

First we painted them.

 Clark was working on making his a cheetah car

and Logan's would become an Alligator car.

Dad even got in on the fun by perfecting a car he used a few years ago in a similar activity in Bellingham.

There was definitely lots of chaos with so many kids running around excited for the races, but not loving the weigh-ins before.

I did manage to grab Clark for a quick picture with his Cheetah

 And Logan with his Alligator

 And a shot of Dad's car without the owner around.

And finally here is one picture from the actual races. Clark and Logan were both racing in the heat.

Overall everyone had a great time and Clark even ended up placing second in his division.
