And the winner is...

Winston-Dillard School District
just south of Roseburg, OR

After a stressful week full of travel for Brian
and a week of single parenthood for Natalie...
After four interviews (one in Oregon and three in Washington)
 Three job offers....
We finally decided on the one here in Oregon.

And yes, I know some of you are thinking...Isn't that the opposite way from where we wanted to go? Yes it is. We really wanted to head back to Washington, but the job in Roseburg is just the perfect job for Brian right now, so that is where we are headed.
Brian will be the 8th grade Language Arts teacher as well as head up the yearbook class.
He has pretty much all the toys he could ask for with teaching in his classroom, so he is pretty excited.

Now begins the hunt for a house to rent/place to live.
Hopefully that goes well and we'll find something soon, so we can move there the end of July.

Big THANK YOUs go out to all of our family and friends for all the thoughts and prayers in our behalf during our long job search this last year. We feel totally loved and blessed and are excited to start a new phase of our lives.

Congratulations! Isn't it funny how things work out... often times opposite of what you think you will do or you choose the option that doesn't make the most sense on paper! LOL! I guess Heavenly Father's hand is in ALL things! Good luck with finding a new place to call home! And good luck to Brian with his new adventure and to all of you with the new phase of your lives!

Wow! That's great. I'm so happy something finally worked out, although sad that Brian couldn't ever find anything permanent at Waldo. I'm sure you know this, but that was Joe's first school where he taught and eventually was also principal. Small world!

Congratulations on the new job, but like you said, it's in the wrong direction! :) If you ever take a family vacation to Yellowstone, give us a call!
