We finally got some warm weather, so we decided to visit a park we hadn't been to yet, but had heard great things about the spring animals....so we thought we better visit before we left Bellingham.
Well, it's now Clark's favorite, so we'll have to go again before we move.
Basically, local farmers lend some of their animals to this park in the town just north of Bellingham (Ferndale) for the spring and summer. With the farm animals added to the ducks, peacocks, chickens, bunnies and roosters that live there year round, it is a mini zoo.
Here are a few of our favorite pictures of the day:
Clark loved seeing the horses up close with Dad.
"Neigh"
Clark running for the cow pasture....wishing Mom, Dad and Logan would come faster.
Got to love the sleeping pigs and the peacock watching over them.
Clark was very intrigued by the "bird" with really long feathers.
Clark wasn't so sure about the sheep since his "baah" was pretty loud....especially when you are a 2 year old standing right next to him. He did really well until the sheep scared him.
Daddy and Clark making their way back across the field to eat lunch.
Basically we had a great day in the park as a family. Clark loved all the room to run and explore as well as all of the animals.
